Btw, I would not have bought Pale Rider, Alien 3, or Alien Resurrection separately. They just happened to be in good value compilations with other favourite movies of mine.
Not at all. I'm just too lazy to list my collection. No reason why you shouldn't list and be proud of yours.

I'm the same as you. I need to possess them and have the ability to watch them at any time in the highest quality.
Actually watching them takes a back seat.
I'm sure if I looked, I would find films that I have bought on both DVD and Blu-ray that I have never taken out of the wrappers.

I love steelbooks.
Far too many others have been a great disappointment and a rip off..........I am far more choosy these days.
With A Bridge Too Far the trailer was of a sharper and better quality than the film itself, which is ridiculous.
The two above are brilliant quality, works of art even.
I used DVD to check out just about everything I was interested in, and I'm extremely selective about which Blu-rays I buy. Apart from the three I listed in my last post, they're all old favourites I've seen multiple times (and will continue to re-watch). I don't want any 'dead wood' this time around.
I've also culled my DVD collection of anything I know I'm unlikely to re-watch. Have maybe 600 original DVD discs left now. At one time it must have been over 1000.
