    Not, on any threads on here, or some other UK music forums!

    People were banging on about him toppling them weeks ago, when he was beating him on neither airplay or sales, and getting dismayed when it didnt happened, cos they didnt even know the sales or airplay situation! :rolleyes:

    Drag up any of Tim Perry's thread and you will see lol! It was only me! :D

    Considering he only beat Miley by one point, it wasnt exactly clear cut he would defo get there after all, so to say everyone knew hmmm...

    Finally got his U.S numero uno, BEP have fought hard but I guess they gonna be back very soon!

    Oh finally the BEP have been knocked off #1. It says a lot about the state of the US music industry if one band can be #1 for half a year and that a mediocre song like 'I Gotta Feeling' was still selling enough copies to be #1 after what.. 13 weeks?

    while im happy for any British artist to be doing well in the states

    its an absoultely dire song, just the word "down" repeatedly for a few mins through a computer that makes him sound like one of the Smash robots. I am baffled by its success.

    Although the WORD "Down" is autotuned in teh REST of the song he sings!

    Unlike LaRoux who's whole Song bulletproof and In for the kill was AUTOTUNED!!!! and still went to #1

    Even BEP BOM BOM POW
