  There is a SD card compatibility chart on the Practika website

  There is a DCZ 5.2 listed but no 520 - same device perhaps? If so then according to that chart it can only use standard SD cards up to 1GB capacity.

  Just get a $2 2GB card then, it should certainly work.
  
  Will be good for maybe 500 pics storage
