Turning Brazil's World Cup Stadiums Into Homes

It's an interesting idea. Brazil built or converted 12 stadiums for the World Cup. A majority of the stadiums they will not need once the games are over. So what to do? They've got some serious overcrowded slums so why not turn these stadiums into housing? Admittedly, this doesn't mean the stadium themselves won't turn into slums - but it's worth looking into. What do you think?

They're already turning them into prisons instead. More profitable.

It'll never happen.People will still live in squalor and misery.
What a terrible waste of money this whole World Cup has been.Clearly the Brazilian Government don't give a shit about the 'have nots'.:(

Profitable for whom? Now that sounds like a tremendous waste of money - besides hosting a major international sporting event.
