Hmm, let's see. 23/11/13 contain only the numbers 321, a joke out of proportion would be a big laugh, back in the 80's for the answer: have I won Dusty Bin?

Sounds cryptic enough to be correct:confused:

I'm guessing it's another "The show was 'cancelled' in the 80's so it hasn't been on for 50 years" thread.

Oh, somebody who doesn't know what the word anniversary means. Gotcha.

    Ah, now I understand!

Well. I'm convinced. Of course it's not the 50th, how could I ever have thought it was?:o

I will boycott the episode, in protest. That'll show 'em.

    It's like this....

Imagine a couple get married in 1963

They split up (but not divorce) in 1989, they get back together in 2005

Of course they will still have a 50th wedding anniversary in 2013

    (and possibly a 10th anniversary in 2015)

I suggest the poster look up "anniversary" in the dictionary.

I travelled back to the 1980s to check but all I found was a Cabbage Patch Doll wearing a Swatch, and it didn't have time to tell me much because it was on its way to a new John Hughes film.

It would still be the 50th anniversary of when the first episode was shown even if the series had been cancelled after one year. The gap from 1989-2005 doesn't change that.
