Could EE ever do a one hander?

Ie; one person in the ep? What could the storyline be? There would need to be a bit of action, or talking to themselves or an imaginary character?

EE was the first soap ever to do a one hander. Dot did one a few years ago.

In case you haven't yet realised.... they did one with Dot. ;)

It earned June Brown a BAFTA nomination.

As everyone else has said, they did it with Dot which was dull as hell. Good acting but it dragged for what felt like years.

It was nice for EastEnders to try it and it was acted and written well.
It was never going to be gripping was it.

I loved it. I can see why some people didn't but it felt like a play more than an episode of EastEnders.

Thought it was better than tonight's episode.

If they were to do another one, who do you think would be the best character for them do it with? I say Pat!

How would they do it though? With Dot, it was believable because she had to record a message to Jim so it enabled her to reveal her innermost thoughts and feelings but IDK how they'd devise it if they were to do it again? Have Pat losing her marbles and start talking to her earrings as if they were her "babies"? :p:D

Yeah, it was good they tried and I think June deserved her Bafta nomination for the episode but it just didn't interest me a whole lot.

Don't think they'll do it again in a hurry.

Since when has the word "trolling" become a replacement word for "joking?"

the only way it could be exciting is if it was something like someone desperately trying to escape and the camera follows them.
I really don't enjoy 2-handers and couldn't watch beyond a few minutes of Dot's episode.

All this talk of two handers and one handers... There are specialist websites for that sort of thing, so I've been told... *cough*
