jahmene is massively overrated.

don't get the hype with him at all, totally emperors new clothes stuff.

decent enough voice but I honestly find him very boring with little to no charisma, and always looks like he's having a shit, so strained is he when singing.

    Sweet kid but even if wins, SC will never promote him and the act that comes 2nd or 3rd will be promoted to the hilt and the poor kid will end up like Leon, Joe and Matt. I hope he doesnt win just to be discarded.

    His version of Angels was not as good as that done by the mother of Ken from The Grapes. ;)

    A fantastic talent who seems to be a genuinely lovely young man. How refreshing it would be to see him doing well post X Factor. Hard to see where Heat would get the headlines, though....................

    Agree. Him and Ella are both terribly overrated. Can't for the life of me see the attraction. And I sure as hell can't see the comparison with Ella and Leona Lewis or Adele. Ella seems to be going downhill slowly imo

    To compare him to Leon is just silly he's nothing like him. Jahmene could be the most successful boy to come out of this competition and with the right material could also be big in America.

    I think this is an important point. Jahmene is one of the very few X Factor acts who I've thought would appeal strongly in the US market. Leona was another - and she did OK there, as far as I recall; at least for a while.

    i don't agree that ella is overrated. she is a bit samey but she's got an excellent voice. jahmene I just find dull.

    The last line of Angels was so woefully out of tune, it completely baffles me that nothing is said - by Gary at least.

    Yes he is a sweet guy and I hope the xfactor machine doesnt destroy his faith. I think he genuinely believes that he is blessed to be given a chance.
