Question re Apple TV

Does anyone know if the Apple TV can be viewed on the television full screen? We only seem to be getting a smaller square box!

Sorry if this is a stupid question or has been asked before, but a quick response would be appreciated.

    It is normally full screen. It will be to do with the settings in either the ATV or your TV.

    It might be smaller if you're mirroring your iPhone. In general, it should fill a normal screen.
