Because Simon, having been in three dance-offs between week 3 and now, stands so much chance of winning? Whoever won that dance-off wasn't winning the series.
There are so many folks out there who watch Strictly for good old Saturday night entertainment (and who just vote for their favourite) who possibly don't even realise there is a Strictly tour? This may sound ridiculous to some of those who post regularly on here but I know far more people who don't know about the tour than those that do.
I think the much more likely scenario is that Pixie has something else to do, and it was already decided that she was going this week. She didn't seem remotely surprised or upset, did she? And Simon's reaction was totally overacted.
The whole thing stinks like a bag of month old kippers.
I think he and Kristina were absolutely resigned to going out when pitted against Pixie (who was acknowledged to be the best dancer), and my impression was that it was a totally natural reaction - you could have knocked him down with a feather!
The thing to keep in mind is the cloak of plausible deniability.
The Tour is a BBC product - check out the website.
The notion that the judges decide on their own is naive. There would have been a lot of discussion of the opportunities that presented themselves once it was clear that Pixie was in the dance-off.
Of course Craig would vote to save Pixie - it would look a bit obvious if he didn't
With Pixie gone Strictly will be less entertaining for the general viewer who isn't rooting for anyone in particular.

BIB 1; Thankyou. At last someone is speaking my language.
BIB 2; Totally agree

Well not for me it won't.:) She's gone, but there are still 5 other dancers to enjoy or endure (whatever the case may be);-)

OMG, the conspiracy theorists are into double bluff territory now!

Enough already!
Its getting ridiculous now. Don't these people take in the fact that Pixie did not get the public support and her dance was under par. All these stupid theories are madness.
For goodness sake lets move on and enjoy the rest of the series. Pixie hasn't died and she will carry on with her successful singing career. In a few weeks we will have forgotten all about it. Lets put things into perspective.

Says it all.
Alesha didn't do the tour.
Also, Craig is a judge on the tour, yet he voted to save Pixie...

This. The £££ is rolling in anyway, nobody cares.

It's produced by Stage Entertainment.
Stage Entertainment, isn't that Joop van den Ende's company?
My oh my, that man has his fingers in a lot of pies.
