  Probably Mary TBH. I genuinely find her hilarious but with just a hint of sadness behind it.
  
  Gail is another favourite. Considering she's been on the show forever, TPTB always give her plenty to do. Also, she's excellent in both comedic & dramatic situations.
  
  Saying that though, I do like most of the characters in Corrie really. I actually think they've always had a pretty good cast and they seem capable of keeping characters long term which adds to the shows history really.

  I like quite a lot of the cast and I also dislike a few too.
  
  I am rarely thrilled with the newcomers but I realise that I can be too quick to judge, I should give them more than just a few weeks before I decide, for example I didn't like Eva and also disliked Rob when they were first introduced but in time my opinion of them changed.....shame Rob has gone.

  Carla, Gail, Leanne, Sally, Eileen, Tyrone and Roy are my favourites! Tracy is doing my head in now! I'm glad you haven't mentioned Liz though! I find her a truly appalling and seriously bad written character these days! I can't stand her! People might disagree with this, but bringing her and her irritating voice back, was just scraping the barrel a bit!

  My favourite family are the Windass/Armstrong's.
  
  I loathe Dev though. He's not funny and creepy around all women bar Sunita, who he was at his best with.
