I can't remember the last time something hilarious was screened on the tele, however maybe I have become a cynical git as I have got older.
The first ever Spitting Image was screened on one of the digital channels last year, and I didn't laugh once despite loving the series first time around. But, as stated earlier in the thread, maybe talented scriptwriters were brought in after the early shows. Or maybe time really isn't kind to the show.
Whatever happens, I will probably give this show the benefit of the doubt.
I was a big 2DTV fan so I'll certainly be watching this. People won't like it though simply because it's on ITV.
Yes i know what you mean, many people think that all ITVs shows are rubbish. I'm looking forward to this show, i loved 2DTV and i love most sketch shows so i think i will like this. I think it will be a bit of light comedy perfect for sunday night, but most people will take it too seriously and slag it off like they do with everything else.
I'll give it a go, just concerns me that in Spitting Image, the puppets were pretty much the characters. In this, it just looks like cartton character versions of the people in 3d. Nothing particularly crazy about it as it was with SI.

It's going to be nothing more than 2DTV in CGI. I don't give it too high hopes.
