While Brown was there about 6 times a year.

While Blair was there more than 6 times a year.

Given she lives near to Dave there's no need for her to go to Number 10.

Did Brown &Blair ever go to her house for a Christmas lunch or horse riding with Coulson & Brooks within their first year in office?

If she is as close a friend as being alleged by Labour don't you think it's odd that Dave didn't invite her round to number 10 after he was elected?

Because Uncle Rupert was the first invited guest to No.10 when Dodgy Dave was "elected". But he came in the through the back door...

Do keep up - it was established weeks ago that she and Dave are friends.

It's rather worrying that she has met Cameron 26 times but never in official settings at Downing Street. It shows how close they were.

That isn't answering the question: If Rebekah Brookes and Cameron were close why didn't he invite her round to see the premises at No 10 after his election?

She went there six times a year under Blair & Brown.

Yes - he was at the garden party along with Milband, Cooper, Balls and the rest of the shadow cabinet. On that basis they are all close friends with her as well. ;)

Brookes has done Cameron a huge favour today, by saying that she didn't advise him on the appointment of Coulson. No need for him to resign now.

And he also used the back door when visiting Blair and Brown.

    It has already been answered.

    1. She lives in his constituency.
    2. She's an actual friend of his - not an acquaintance of circumstance.

I would be very disappointed if he did resign.

It was how many times he had contact with NI.

    Mostly receptions and party conferences.

Me to Jilly (unless he is hiding something of course). People seem to forget that he is not liked by the right of the party and they'd love the chance to get rid of him (seen as too moderate) and replace him with someone further to the right of the party.

Why traipse up to downing street when she lives next door to him............she could just send for him in the evening to give him his orders
