when Amy was talking about her routine and said she answers her emails
Lucy, oddly, said "from who?"
um...her family, friends, work
who does Lucy get emails from?
and what business is of Lucy who Amy gets emails from?

I agree.
Obviously the program makers have succeeded in making Lucy the wicked witch of West Yorks. Its a good job she's got her job in a successful soap opera and no-one will remember Amy Willerton in five months time.
Exactly it was just plain rude. However it was Lucy's next comment in the telegraph that was most surprising and why she got a lot of hate on twitter.
Which is even more interesting because Lucy herself judged a beauty contest under 2 years ago.
What was that comment?
(Soz, but I haven't been following things closely enough.)
When Amy was crying Lucy said she wasn't sure why she was crying and maybe it was because she was advised to do it to further her career.
Thanks.
Saying she wants attention is quite different from, and quite a bit less cynical and nasty than, saying she cried because she was advised to do it to further her career, which even implies that she's too dim to think for herself.
In any case, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that someone wants attention (such as a hug, reassurance, a kind word) when they're crying.
Not surprising at all as Lucy is one huge hypocrite
With a capital "H"
Yea because she can't act. She just reads the lines and is the same hard faced character in the soap as she is in real life .
And they made Amy look as if she was complaining when all she said was 'Can I use your hammock?' Others were still in their hammocks, but I didn't hear Lucy tell them they were lazy.
If Amy went to the loo Lucy would be on camera spouting that Amy was 'only having a pee to further her career' . She had no business demanding to know who was sending Amy e-mails. What business is it of hers? (Of course we know she was being manipulative and hoping Amy would say something that would make her look bad on camera). Lucy is becoming a predatory towards Amy and it's not nice to watch!
As in to whom it may concern, or from whom did you buy that watch. :)
I read that 'who' replaces 'he/she' and 'whom' is for 'him/her'. For example:
Who sent you an e-mail?
He did.
From whom did you receive an e-mail?
From her.
Then she should have said so and not " from who " ? Its none of Lucys business who e mails Amy and why she checks them or when .
I thought Lucy was downright rude
I agree, I think Lucy is coming across as a very hard faced, bitter and jealous person. She has been very curt with Amy, its like she uses every opportunity she has to have a dig at her. I think that's why she has been chosen to do the latest trial, people are beginning to see her true colours....
This is where I find it a bit disquieting. Lucy did seem to have got up in a filthy mood, but she was only shown for about three minutes really. It is very unlikely that she spent the rest of the day biting and snapping at Amy or anyone else; I would guess that in the next 14 hours or so she was perfectly polite and reasonable. It is a bit disturbing to try and demonise someone's entire personality based on such a very short incident. And yes, that is clearly why she was chosen for the trial; I just suspect that when Amy comes out of the house she will be surprised and not at all pleased to discover how violently Lucy has been attacked.
I agree:)
