Humax released their impressive HD-FOX T2 Freeview box back at the start of the year, but it's this, the Humax HDR-FOX T2 Freeview HD recorder, that we've been really looking forward to. Humax have now finalised the details of the recorder's release, so read on for the low-down on this impressive set-top box.
Due out in July, the Humax HDR-FOX T2 Freeview HD recorder can playback and record the free High Definition TV service offered by Freeview. It features a 500GB hard drive, storing 125 hours of HD video, and roughly double that for standard definition content.
The Humax HDR-FOX T2 Freeview HD recorder will also play back mp3s, photos and video from a USB port or across your home network via Ethernet.
Pick this one up for around £349 when it launches in July.

What is wrong with the OP starting a new thread here?
It is after all about a 'PVR' in the 'Personal Video Recorders' sub forum!:p
I just assumed the Humax Freeview PVR section would be where a thread on this would be. Sorry.
I don't think you need to apologise. It is on topic here.
This is what I want to know as well, cos if it doesn't there's no need to wait for it as the Philips/Pace unit seems just as good.

Apart from that I`d pre-order tomorrow.
I asked the seller about it having a CI slot and they said "Yes it does".

Left clicking on the picture, save the original sized picture to the desktop and magnifying the picture, it looks like it has a CI+ slot.

The flap on the bottom right hand side of the PVR is covering a USB socket.
And I was only pointing out that another thread about the Humax Freeview + HD PVR had been started in the Freeview section of this forum and posted a link so that you could find out more about this HD PVR.
I have no problem with another thread about the Humax Freeview+ HD PVR being started in the PVR section of this forum.
I was only trying to help.
Edit: I have just spotted on the Top right of the Humax Freeview+ HD PVR that it has the CI logo so there for the PVR must have a CI slot but looking a the photo of the PVR I can not see the CI slot only the flap covering the USB socket.
Well just go and buy it then!
:eek::rolleyes::p
Have a look at 3view or digital stream HDR's a lot cheaper and who knows maybe a lot better.:):):)
EDIT - ah £299. I should have checked first!

It certainly looks impressive.
I hope it works properly and reliably straight out of the box. It would be terrible if the software was flaky.
Yes, it does look nice. The remote is a lot better looking than the old one too.
