The Event
Outsourced
Outsourced must have the worst, unfunniest, patronising, trailer I have ever seen.
The trailer for The Event looks amazing which either mean that the show is going to be brilliant or a huge disappointment.
i watch college football and it gets spots in that constantly which is the only reason im checking it out.
The event is looking more and more like flashforward so im waiting a month to see reactions to it before watching it

Might take a look at: Broadwalk Empire (I think that's what is is called)
Missing 24, though
Suppose I will do season 2 of Glee - but given the overhyping of the show, I'm afraid that the thing (element) that made it special will be overtaken by the network wanting to make it bigger and better than before - therefore eliminating the very thing that made it special in first place (this is always a danger when a show gets really really popular)
Just seen the first episode of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" (http://www.hbo.com/boardwalk-empire) - supposedly the new Sopranos, set in Atlantic City during the 1920s Prohibition era
It has good credentials. directed by Martin Scorsese, written by Terrence Winter from The Sopranos and features Steve Buscemi and the lovely and talented Kelly Macdonald (albeit with a dodgy Irish accent). It looks stunning on the screen, the costumes and sets must have cost a fortune.
As with other ensemble shows it will take a while to work out who everyone is and only time will tell whether the storytelling will be good enough to keep me interested - but it's the most impressive pilot I have seen so far.
Returning shows...
Dexter
NCIS
NCIS L.A
Bones
The Mentalist

Two And A Half Men
Stargate Universe
Human Target
Sanctuary
The Ultimate Fighter
New Shows...

Already given up on Undercovers after one episode and a couple might follow ( Chase, Detroit 1-8-7, The Event ) but will give them another episode or two.
Wow, it's amazing the amount of shows you can seemingly now buy and legally download from iTunes and elsewhere. The list just goes on and on... Hollywood producers say "Thank you!"

TV critics in America have absolutely pulverized Outlaw. I am pretty sure that last year the critics quite liked The Good Wife, right from the beginning.
Funnily enough I thought it was very like the Good Wife. I'll give it a few episodes.
Actually, I didn't think that Outlaw was that bad. It had a few casting problems but it was better than The Defenders.
I still expect both to to axed. There are loads of new legal drama every season and only a few survive.
I didn't watch it myself, but The Defenders got quite decent ratings for its first episode. Maybe those ratings will go down, but so far it is not looking like a show that is going to get the chop.

ureka has just closed for the Summer run and returns in December with a Xmas special. Unless you are referring to watching at UK Pace rather than US??

You can select which shows you watch so that there aren't 100 shows showing all the time.
Even with a show filter on, I still have 53 episodes a week showing up. I'm a TV **** apparently.

Hawaii Five-0 was surprisingly good. There's certainly room for this in the schedule.
The Event was good but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much in case it turns into another Flash Forward or Jericho.
Outlaw, Undercovers and The Whole Truth were all so-so. Worth another week or three but I'll either drop them or they will be axed.
