No, they have used that one this evening but it wasn't at that point. Pity the voiceover means you can't shazam it.

Hint : it's not supposed to be serious.

No, That was used much earlier and not something I would miss as that is my favourite music of all time.

The one I think the poster was asking about was a much lighter dee dee dit type tune more like a family quiz tune of old.

Russel Brand the first 100 days was superb.

Funnier than Channel 4's mockumentary on what a UKIP government would be like.

'Funny' might have helped in that case. ;-)

    Is it 'The Gonk'?

Obviously you think Russell Brand talks sense then.

Brooker and Hislop are pretty even handed in their satire

 As I have zero interest in Russell Brand or anything he has to say I can't really comment further. All my original post was saying was that I thought the Brand sketch was the weakest part in what I thought was otherwise a pretty enjoyable Brooker show.

    Brilliant as always.

Everything Philomena Cunk comes out with has me in fits - "like other Greek inventions such as thick yoghurt, sodomy and triangles, democracy took the world by storm".

It said "Charlie Brokers Election Wipe"
I be watching it, Things on adverts channels get recorded these days.

This is not on an advert channel.

Very good stuff. Barry Sh!tpeas just saying "Nicola Surgeon" lots of times got me, and I love the intellectual red headed goddess that is Philomena Cunk. Sure some people will find some Biased Broadcasting Corporation angle as per, but I couldn't see it myself. Very enjoyable.

The Emily Surname bit was great because they basically got a BBC news report and even the accent of the typical reporter down to a T.

I thought the first 100 days of Brand was funny too.

I thought that was very good. The Russell Brand segment was great again.

Found it very poor. Too much padding and not enough
of the anger and comedy that make a good Brooker
show. Should have been thirty minutes with all the
    dross cut out IMO.

I wonder if Brand likes those bits.
Guess we'll have to wait for the next big fat quiz to find out :D

I meant slightly after that when Charlie was talking about Cameron lying about what footy team he supported :)

'Tis the classic Paul Kuhn track 'A Swingin' Safari'. Having said that, the version he used isn't the original, and isn't a version I've heard before.

Very good show all in all. Cunk was brilliant, as always. The Brand bit was OK, not particularly funny, but OK. At least it didn't go on and on like the Brand segments in the half hour shows.

Emily Surname was fine. But that's one of those things where if you've seen it once then you've seen it completely. Nothing she did in this episode was new. Nothing.
