Big cook little cook. Why didn't they make more?

Why didnt they make more? It was a brilliant show for kids and I'm sure it got sold around the world. It's repeated now and seems quite popular with kiddies.

Also what are the 2 presenters up to now? Are they still together? I know they did something on the now defunct nuts tv.

I presume the two presenters have been given new identities and are living in South America, to escape the shame of that drivel.

Even now when I think about it, I die a little inside. And I wasn't even involved. Yikes.

I watched "Looking For Eric" recently, but just couldn't take it seriously, because the bad guy was played by "Big Cook"!

Think i remember them as guest presenters on Big Brothers Big Mouth a couple of years ago. The big one was quite funny, the wee one wasn't.

Probably because once you make new programmes aimed at that age group for a while your original audience grows up and you have a whole new audience. Once this happens you might as well run repeats rather than make new episodes, as they're new to the audience anyway. In the Night Garden did the same thing.

Because the title looks suggestive if you read it too fast.

Maybe the cafe went bust. One customer at a time and they only received payment in thank you notes. Recipe (ho ho!) for disaster that.

Little cook was killed in a freak accident involving a food blender. ;)

    "Why didn't they make more?"

Because there are only so many times you can get away with making the same programme over and over and over and over again.
