    Ives/Angus Lennie in The Great Escape.

    In terms of the film rather than reality, that was sadder than those once out and 'the fifty'

    Also add, the Bronson and Coburn characters in the Magnificent 7. The Charles Bronson death, with the children there is done brilliantly.

    George Clooney's wife in "The Descendants" was a bit more emotional than I was expecting.

    Because you know, you never actually see her do anything at any point in the movie.

    Watched this film last night & have to agree with that.
    Seeing the prison guards in tears too & the bit where John Coffey didn't want his head covering as he was 'scared of the dark' really got to me.:cry:

    Sean Connery's Irish cop character in The Untouchables...I was so gutted when he was killed halfway through the film!

    For me too..and the accountant guy when he died
