Explosions, stunts and what have you...

Yeah, I read there would be explosions, stunts etc.

But still, everyone did an amazing job. Jane Danson was the highlight for me.

Oh John Stape, just cos you had Fizz screaming in your ear and Charlotte turned out to be alive, doesn't mean you have to diss your employer ;)

I kept forgetting it was live so I think that makes it realistic. There didn't seem any difference to a recorded episode so well done all the actors.

I thought it was much better than Eastender tbh. Brilliant and emotional acting throughout!

I'm not an Eastenders fan. I loathe the programme, but I thought the overacting in tonight's Corrie was hilarious.

    Brilliant all round.

The fact it didn't feel live - made it better.

When EE do their 50th anniversary live episode, then we can compare. For now, Corrie walked it!

It didn't just walk it, it strutted it, like John Travolta!

Agreed, it was kind of a let down. Eastenders live had me on the edge of my seat all the way through it..where as corrie just didnt have the excitement eastenders had.

I was slagging off the tram crash scenes the other day but tonight definitely made up for it... very good quality acting all round I thought, and I'm not a Corrie fan by any stretch. I was expecting a few blunders but was very impressed!

I like EE and Corrie, it is possible you know ;)

Have to say that live Corrie was streets ahead of the EE live episode - better acting, more emotional.

I loved it, I thought the acting was better than Eastenders and I am an Eastenders watcher who hadn't watched Corrie for 15 years.

The only thing I didn't like was the ending, a quick marriage followed by an almost immediate flatline and death. Cheesy and cliche.

I'm an EE fan who just tuned back in this week and I have to say that that was an amazing hour of TV. Corrie should be proud. :)

EE was better and had me on the edge of my seat BUT I admit the acting was amazing and I have realised wat a great cast Corrie has, very emotional.

But there were heavy hints of huge explosions stunts and suprises...

It didn't seem live and why did Beckys storyline need to be one of the episodes centre topic?

Yes as itv had endsless money from adverts, bbc was tax payers money.

It was FAR better than EastEnders' attempt earlier in the year.

(And I say that as someone who usually prefers EastEnders)

Did anyone actually make a mistake?

I thought John had lots of scenes?
