I was watching highlights of Amy's performances and it got me thinking, what song could Adele do Mercury prize award this year. By past performances, the artists don't normally sing their biggest hit.
Nice first post! You won't get many arguments here, RITD totally rocks.
So wait, for this Mercury Award they have a ceremony where the noms get to perform? Is it a large, primetime audience? If it is voice driven, she should perform TIA or OAO. Rumour Has It if she wants to liven it up a bit. SFTTR would be great, but seeing that xl is sleeping on it and isn't investing a dime in promoting it, on with the next song I guess.

The Mercury Prize isn't a huge deal really, it is generally won by a more obscure act in order to give them a leg-up. Generally acts such as Adele are nominated in order to gain press coverage for the event, and they in turn use it to showcase material that perhaps won't have been heard by those who haven't bought the album.
Although she seems to sugest it's more a self therapy thing. Not sure if it's reason for concern or not. I'm sure she's fine. I just get nervous about big UK artists hitting the bottle after what happened to Amy.
She is more relaxed smoking and drinking when it comes to music. Some would think that health damaging which yeah it is but if that inspires Adele, then it is what it is. I am sure several other artists do it. Dusty springfield used to smoke a lot when making an album.
I think that was a false alarm, they don't stock XL stuff - not that it's important given what's happening in London at the moment; music rightly takes a back seat in terms of importance.
Edit: Looks like I was wrong, they stock Beggars Banquet which appears to be the holding company for XL and some other indie labels?

Gaga says she gets creative on crack and pot, so I don't think I'd worry too much about Adele.:D

Will #3 be 21's lowest charting position?

Dedicated Hometown Glory to "the f*cking idiots rioting in London."

I'm sure Adele will get a few more No.1s in before the end of the year for her album too
Amy and Adele, 2 each in the top five, almost perfect.
