The thing that annoyed me about this storyline is when Lloyd just went to the pet shop to buy another tortoise and said it was Flash. They were talking about it being 'just a tortoise'. But seeing as Lloyd was skint not long ago, have you any idea how much money a tortoise of that size costs. Its A LOT. Plus, when it reaches that size you need to register it and microchip it etc etc ...

I'm sick to death of Steve saying 'flash arhhhh' every time someone says its name. Winds me up. And the woman who plays Mandy can't act very well, she's very monotone and quiet.

Me too; the correct pronunciation is `tortus`. Anyone who doubts this should check with a good dictionary. I think there is one cast member who pronounces it correctly.
Mandy's so dire, Flash completely owned that scene with her last night.
Her equally dire daughter sucks the life out of every scene she's in too.

Fair play, the writers have stitched poor Lloyd up like a good 'un saddling him with those two bores.
He's obviously really upset some bugger high up (Anthony Cotton I expect! :)).

I liked that too, but I wondered if it's warm enough yet in Manchester to put a tortoise out in the garden? (And yes - I know it's not real life.)
I do realise that, but why act as though a tortoise can be picked up for a £5. Its wrong.
