It was the last of the series this week and Raymond Snoddy's last show.
When it returns it will be in the new studio and will be presented by Samira Ahmed.
Do you think she'll get anymore out of the BBC staff than Ray did?

I think she will, but Ray will be missed. I think it should be 30 minutes long though, there would be plenty content to fill it and would allow for longer debates.
I agree Ray will be missed, I wonder if he is retiring or moving elsewhere. Good call getting Samira Ahmed to front it though, she will do well in the role.
She isn't all that bad on the Sunday morning show. I don't think Newswatch will be anything heavier then it is as present. Hardly anyone watches anyway.
Everytime that I have watched it has just been viewers with big chips on their shoulders who think they know far more about broadcasting that the BBC i.e. typical of many DS writers.
Yes, on the review of the last 8 years they showed a clip of some 'chip on the shoulder' man who was complaining about God knows what saying something like 'I expcect better of the BBC' A real pain in the butt who complained about anything and everthing
What makes you think you'll get any different from Samira? They're not going to get any more out of the BBC bigwig sat there. If anyone was crap, it was Kevin Bakhurst. I commented on DS, and tweeted at the time (not including his username but he still clearly searched for his name!) that he sits there looking as if someone's just pissed in his shoes, while telling Raymond Snoddy why the viewers are wrong to complain about anything because he's always right.
I tweeted Ray on Sat after I saw Newswatch, but while sometimes he does reply, he didn't this time.
Did anyone? All ever remember is the BBC telling us the viewer that we were wrong and the BBC were (as always right)
But it is usually the case.
I swear that you two must watch a different version of the show to the rest of us
Exactly right.
And you know this how, exactly?
Ooh, it's troll-time.
I don't think I was trolling. However detailed a reply that the BBC give for why something was done in a particular way there will be someone who writes it off as wrong or lies even though they have no knowledge or experience of television i.e. typical of many of the posters on DS.
Oh come off it, the kind of crap that gets spouted by the BBC bigwigs on Newswatch and POV is the same thing we've heard a million times before, and just doesn't wash.
If you're that easily taken in, then I've got some magic beans I'd like to sell you.
And then, as if to prove the point...

Point us to the tweet, then.
BBC editor: The BBC just doesnt do things that are wrong. Its not in our DNA. The whole concept of the BBC making a mistake is just unfathomable. You just have to believe that is true.
Newswatch presenter to BBC editor: Thank you sir for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak to us and correct those moaning ill-informed viewers.
BBC Editor "Good, now piss orf you silly little man, I have a luncheon engagement at The Ivy....."
Didn't they cover Savile last week?
