He suffered with cancer a few years ago, so has done brilliantly to get to 90 years old.

Always enjoyed him in Quincy. Very much a program of its time, but always good. I always wondered how Quincy got away with shouting at people so much without getting into trouble.

Quincy was a Medical Examiner, his boss used to pull him up often - but he knew Quincy was good at finding the bad guys.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXf4tV_aeDc#t=0m10s

He had throat cancer in the 80s, he trained himself to speak again. I noticed he had a more gravelly voice when he was on Diagnosis Murder in the 90s.

Throat cancer in 1974 and he lost a vocal cord to cancer in 1989 but he did return to acting in the 90s

How sad. I really like Quincy and always record them to watch when I'm alone at home on a day off. My guilty pleasure. R.I.P Jack Klugman

Aw, that's a shame....he was a fine actor.

Loved him as the slob in The Odd Couple and his role in Twelve Angry Men.

That's how you make a movie. No special effects or gimmicks or dramatic music.....just first rate acting.

Really sad to hear of Jack Klugman's passing. Was thinking about him just yesterday (seeing Dick Van Dyke in Night at the Museum reminded me of him). Loved him in Quincy, a terrific actor.
