New definition of unlucky = turning up to a race and seeing Peter Sagan's name on the start list.

Sagan v Cav at the tour could be very interesting.

Would have liked to see Sagan have a crack at the overall though. He can climb and that would have been interesting

how good is sagan in the mountains ?

is he a serious contender ?

'the boys' were suggesting that he might need to lose weight and change his training regime before he could be a grand tour contender...........I suppose similar to Wiggo

he's only young but he's won a stage in Paris Nice that had a few climbs in it. He's not a GC contender yet but i'd like to see him have a proper go at a week long race to see where he is

Not sure if this is better for the tour. Andy had to attack as he can't TT. Not sure we will get the same explosive attacks from Wiggo or Evans, although cuddles is a bit more exciting since his world champs win

If Radioshack survive until the Tour, it might give Frank a freer hand to attack now that Andy is out.

Decisive stage of the TdSuisse today with better recorded coverage of the stage than the pitiful 4.5km last night.

Are we starting a separate Tour thread? Otherwise, I think this one needs an amended title.

The bookies have got it down as a Evans v Wiggins ITT play-off with everyone else ranked as outsiders.

If most people agree to an amended title , i have no problem in changing it.

Yeah, it's been a bit rubbish the last couple of weeks with ES not showing any live coverage of the last couple of days of the Dauphine or the Tour de Suisse

At least there's decent highlights tonight.............the ES1 highlights clash with the football but ES2 has them scheduled for 5.30

Ideally we'd stay here for the Tour but you know full well that other threads will be started...........I suppose we could have a gentlemans agreement amongst the 'regulars' to stay here and maybe post links to this thead in the newbie threads ?

Cav's got no chance unless he's suddenly able to climb.

    More here

According to this, he is targetting the Green Jersey and the Olympics more than individual sprint stage wins.
