Why wouldn't people use them if they ask a question?
Today i got mistaken for being 11 years old when i'm 17?
Because people make a statement and turn it into a question.
I went to the shops today?
That makes sense though, read it out loud.
No it doesn't it's a statement not a question at most it should have an exclamation.
The only way it could possibly work is if the original poster had amnesia and didn't know if the incident had happened or not.
It's all gravy, that's one for the annoying sayings thread!
The QM implied 'why did I...?' or 'how come I...', that's what I got anyway.
That is a fact?
I don't know? Do you.
See post 3?
I know you're doing it on purpose, but when full stops are genuinely used instead of question marks, it just seems rude? Or is that just me. Even more so when it's asking for a favour? Then it's like a demand?
Yes .!! isn't it ?
I went to the shops today could actually be a question if you have a bad memory.
