    Good reminder (for the programme, not the s**t-storm!) cheers, i'll be watching. Might dip back into this thread just to read the anger of some people who take things far far too literally after watching a very high quality magician perform some excellent tricks.

    I went to see it live, and was very disappointed - it was more of a self-help therapy session than his usual onstage tricks.

    Have watched this tour at my local theatre, will be watching again with interest.

    Well it said there were stooges in the beginning. So, obviously there will be stooged. Cause hes an illusionist, and thats the same thing as being a lair......

    How can you influence someone to think of an obscure object. What if someone was to just decide on a place or an object weeks before the show and stick to it?

    How would they know they would have been chosen. And wasnt the 'headline' exercise done to blank everyones minds, so that wouldnt be an issue???

    Don't know the exact dates but think it started in spring 2015 and finished late summer this year.

    And into hypnosis we go...

    Thing is, it's find for Derren to use it but why do these God people also use it? It's meant to be their God's powers, not hypnosis/suggestion.

    There is no such thing as hypnosis by the way

    What are you defining as hypnosis to then tell everyone that what you imagine it to be doesn't exist?

    I do love these one liner authoritative statements about a complex subject. But thanks for letting me know what you believe. Reality, whilst being plastic, won't be changed by it.

    I like when he does this, just takes the piss out of the people who think they can heal people for real. When Derren said at the end 'Get your credit cards out for the lord' made me laugh

    So do I! Being a staunch atheist myself, anything that exposes people who really go out to con people is good in my book.

    If it was the Lord doing all these things at religious gatherings, why are they using classic hypnosis techniques? Flim-flam dressed up and served to an audience who believe in God before they came in.

    And if Derren can do the same without a God, why the need for a God?
