Theatrical Films & Subtitles (for deaf & hearing impaired)

Are "subtitle" glasses available in the rest of the world? I've just read that in 2013 US theater chain, REGAL, began issuing special glasses for those who cannot hear. The subs appear on the glasses and is currently available in most of their theaters (they operate over 6,000 screens across the USA). I'm curious if theaters across Europe & Asia have anything similar? Because it's a fantastic idea / technology.
