EA Origin Account cancellation

Can you request that EA remove all association on their origin account with your personal details, such as DOB, Email address etc including your gamertag. I despise this company so much (personal reasons) that I want nothing more to do with them, they keep spamming me with there crap, ive opted out of there email alerts etc but it makes no difference. There live chat (which is useless by the way) claim that i cannot remove my gamertag,email, dob etc from there account but im sure they cant hold this info without my permission.

    Mark their emails as spam, that's what I do. You could also create a random crap email account somewhere and change your Origin address to that. The E.U is pushing through a right to be forgotten thing that would force companies to remove your details but I think that may be a way off.
