You couldn't just keep it a sexist thread but now it's ageist as well.
I can't see why Kate wouldn't still be a shiny, happy person, ironic as the song is.
Could nt you apply to the Ministry of Funny Walks for
a sense of humour ?
Not sure that it was meant to be funny. Kate Pierson is still a fine looking woman at 66.
So I wonder if you had bothered to look. One of my favs is Merry Clayton (Gimme Shelter) who's looking as good now ( check the movie '20 Feet from Stardom') as she did 30 years ago. Debbie Harry is 69. If there is surgery involved it doesn't show or doesn't matter.
The lawn mower bit was funny.
And you applied to the Ministry of Funny Walks to register a funny walk as I recall not a sense of humour.
there was a foxy blonde in the group that had a hit with
... Crying in the disco tech....
they were Swedish .... great vid ... if you like
guys in animal suits dancing ....
Just wondering ... did Siouxie Sue begin the Gothic style..
or was she copying something already there ?
It depends on whether you only mean the gothic style in pop music which was mainly popularised by Siouxsie. But the style was probably first popularised by Theda Bara, a silent movie star. Then you could say Bela Lugosi in the horror movies or James Whale (Bride of Frankenstein) used some gothic styles. Morticia Addams (Addams Family) or Lily Munster (The Munsters) in the US TV series developed the image/style. I don't know if Siouxsie would have watched those programmes but she is of the right age.

I don't think you quite get Siouxsie, do you? She is genuinely enigmatic.
She doesn't easily fit into any conventional labels. The first night I saw her she had tartan on.
Comments
Well it didn't say narcissists not allowed. But on looks alone the woman is stunning.
I was think more Mel B, who has improved with age.
She aint one of the shiney happy people no more !

Nicole strikes me as the sort of woman who would scream her own name during
sex. Besides, I'm a Kimberly Wyatt man myself.

Alison Goldfrapp plays for Rangers? (Enfield that is)
No, she's romantically involved with a woman (Lisa Gunning).

She hadn't signed it when she did this:

Didn't care for Alcazar much, but the redhead in the band was quite
hot! Mind you, she had an unpronounceable name (Annika Kjærgaard).
