Can't play Blu-Ray titles recorded on Panasonic on PS3

Hello,
I recorded some titles off BBC HD using a Panasonic Blu-Ray recorder (DMR BS-750) onto a single layer Maxell recordable Blu-Ray disc.
I gave the disc, which I had finalised to a friend of mine, who tried to play it on his PS3.
When he tried to play it, he could only access the title menu, but could not play any of the actual titles.
As far as I know the titles were not copy protected or limited by the broadcaster.
I have lent other recorded discs to my brother who has a Panasonic Blu-Ray player without any problems.
Any ideas please?

You need to use a different mode, try xp
