why cant carl get away with it?

carl will no doubt be eventually caught.its boringly predictable that when there is a murder in soap,the killer will after a while be sussed out and never gets away with it.why cant they,for a change,let carl leave the show without going to jail,killed off,discovered?

    Totally agree. There have been killers that have got away with it in soaps like Barry Grant in Brookside. However that was years ago and it is realistic as people do get away with murder, sometimes.

    Tracy did get away with murder with just a 4 year sentence. Although most of the street knows she killed Charlie they act like she just robbed some magazines from the local corner shop.
