She danced with Patrick - kept getting caught up in her dresses.

Here she is dancing with Pasha on DWTS. And with Patrick.

I think they'd like to get rid of her but also understand that she is a favorite with their male audience and they can't afford to alienate those any further by eliminating their eye-candy. She's pretty much all most people on social media talk about when it comes to the female pro's...her popularity may also be working against her at this point. It's unlikely but i hope she's back. I think she is the best female pro the show has had since Erin Boag.

Do guys really count for much of the audience in the UK? Over here, the average DWTS viewer is a 62 year old female. They're desperately trying to woo younger people, but I figured the ones they're after are young females, who watch other reality shows. Though for all I know, young men watch reality shows too.

Anyhow, I like Ola and wouldn't be surprised if she came back, but they chose not to have the Jordans on the tour for several seasons and they didn't exactly give her a hottie (though maybe I'm underestimating Steve.) Maybe I'm way off target, but I would think the BBC would like the buzz all this controversy has generated - people who don't watch might tune in to see if Steve and Ola were glaring at each other.

That's the problem with the batch of female pro's they have. The dance aficionados may fixate on these dancers but the general public (if you read twitter/comment pages) just haven't bought into or in some cases registered who they are. Iveta is a classic. On here she is lauded but was unable to get Thom beyond a few weeks in show.

I don't think Ola will be back but she's been a good Strictly pro, Strictly has been good for her, and it's time to move on.

    Exactly. They are interchangeable.

Agreed, I happen to like Ola but I think it's time she moved on, her heart doesn't seem to be in it anymore - I think if she wants media exposure for brand Jordan she could easily get work on another reality show next year - either CBB or IAC.

I think Aliona, Iveta, Kristina and Ola are all distinct in their personalties, images, styles of dancing, teaching and choreography as were Lilia, Anya and Katya when they were pros on strictly.

As for the comment above that Iveta didn't get very far with Thom - I think it's a bit unfair to blame her, he just happened to have a bad week and was in the dance off against a better dancer - she had a great partnership with Mark Benton last year who many predicted on here would be an early boot.

I don't really like any of the female pros, Ivetta seems very cardboard to me, no personality. Aliona is an odd one, she seems very stand offish one min then smiley and nice the next. I hate not knowing where I stand with people. Kristina seems a little up herself at times although she does seem a little sweet at time. Oh I like Natalie, she seems lovely and jo seemed nice.
The male pros seem nice, I love Aliaz (and no it's not his looks) he seems genuinely funny and warm. I love Robin and have missed him. Pasha seems a little odd but really quite endearing, Kevin cracks me up and I really like him.
Ola has seemed very subdued this year which is a shame because I liked her in years gone by, I hope shes happy in whatever she chooses to do.

Ola's always been my favourite and I'll be sad if she doesn't return next year. I do think she hasn't been her usual happy self these last couple of weeks. Hope we see her still in the pro dances.

Ill be quite sorry to see her go (if she does).

I'm fed up with some of the newer pros from Burnthe Floor/ SYTYCD backgrounds. They aren't proper ballroom dance pros, and this shows in their choreography. Ola is a ballroom dancer first and foremost, and she is a far better dancer than the likes of Karen, Janette, and Anya, whose limitations have been very obvious.

I'd rather see professional dancers who can produce 10 decent ballroom dances, than the showdances/ contemporary/ salsa specialists they seem to be bringing in now. The 3 new pros this year have actually been a breath of fresh air - such a shame that two of them were lumbered with duffers, and Trent is showing himself to be a wonderful dancer and great choreographer. Lovely guy though he is - I haven't missed Robin this year at all, and wouldn't mind seeing him leave.

It's a shame that Craig gets so much say over the tour... His love affair with Miss Funnity Fun Fun, and his hatred of the Jordans makes me question his judgement.

Going off the traffic to my blog which posts the spoiler each Saturday, there is an approximate 70/30 split with the majority being female. I would imagine the audience split would be similar.

Speaking as a guy myself, Ola is a major reason I watch. Although Joanne really caught my eye this year so if she stays and gets partnered with someone who can dance I may have reason to watch should Ola leave

I hope Ola will be back, herself and Natalie are my favourite female pros, I'm not that bothered about the others. I wouldn't miss Kristina if she moved on. lol

I think a lot of guys love Aliona. Certainly during her Harry year when her hair was red.

I think she most easily fills the gap Ola would leave, but Ola has that universal appeal for men, and has that Girl next door personality.

Joanne is probably the nearest in personality but whilst being very beautiful doesn't have that sex appeal that Ola has.

I'm not a massive Ola fan but it's clear, like Lilia, she was attractive to men but not threatening to women and I'd have to agree none of the dancers fit the mould exactly.

If Strictly were a Carry On film, Ola would be Barbara Windsor.
Oh, and Len would be Sid James.

Ola and Brendan have always been my favourite pros but I think this will be the last year for them both :( Brendan looks disengaged and Ola has said she wants a family and she will be 33 next September. I think she'll do a tour if they get the backing, the summer season and then have a baby. I'll miss them both if it happens ( and I miss James.....a bit) I hope, whoever they get as new professionals next year that they are English for a change...or, perhaps we don't produce dancers anymore

Not only is Ola gone so is Brendan! He has looked so bored this series and quite fed up as though he clearly has had enough of the show.

Ola and James have both denied the baby rumours, also James is furious about the STEVE bullying stories released to the media. Apparently Ola had been in tears about the stories in the media. Of course James blames the BBC PR dept. Perhaps the baby rumours are deliberately put out so they can get Ola out of the show, making it look like it was her decision.

I agree with you about English dancers, would be a nice change and I have no idea why on an English weekly TV show,we have so many foreign dancers!

The "bullying" thing is so, so odd. I've always felt that Steve and Ola got along just fine, no hint of awkwardness between them. I can't understand where it all came from to be honest, but we don't really see inside the training rooms anymore. Brendan and Sunetra on the other hand, well he quite obviously dislikes her for whatever reason. The frostiness between them practically oozes through the TV screen. Not sure what is goin on there?

On Twitter there seems to be a general feeling amongst some that the Clifton family are taking over. I don't see that myself, it's not Kevin's fault that he's become popular is it?

I think they only way Ola will come back (if she even gets asked) is if they ask James back too and I cant see that happening any time soon

James has burnt his bridges as far as Strictly is concerned and I personally think he has burnt Ola's too

Personally I wont miss either of them

The men in the D household all prefer Aliona to Ola. Apparently she was "hawt diggedy" with the red hair. I'm guessing the "Fwoarrrr" as well meant it was a compliment :)
