Off topic, I know. And it was just a political marriage, and several hundred years ago when these things happened.

But still...

It was a terrible system but consummating such relationships would have been frowned on. The hubby was expected to wait. The Queen's great great ........ Grandfather didn't when he got his child bride, Margaret Beaufort pregnant when she was 12. She had many husbands but no more children.
