This is how they get their viewing figures up...make us wait around for his interview piecemeal fashion....:D

i disagree, this is how they lose their listening figures, people waiting for them to talk and stuff but are stuck with shite music for half the show

raef talks about the ladies and men who have 'shown their admiration' for him

raef leaves, after hardly any air time

    how crap was that

never listening to that radio station again in my life

I liked the way Raef ended with "And good luck for the future" as if it was his show and Alan Carr was his guest!

Ultimate self confidence yet somehow without seeming like arrogance as it would with most people.

Mind you, it was better than when he was on the One Show for three seconds.

i wouldn't call that an interview let alone a radio show

i love alan carr, he is a great comedian etc.

but firstly, he read out one email (mine :P hehe) but he didn't even ask the questions from the email

he didn't ask anythjing more in detail

the show as full of music, maybe just for the interviews they can cut out some music

I thought the bit about the laundry task was very interesting, actually. Nice bit of insight in to how things get edited to fit a certain theme....

Playing devil's advocate here, but it is a music channel (6 Music) with occasional guest interviews so I suppose non Apprentice fans listening in for the music might have complained if they didn't play as much music as they were expecting.

Exactly. TBH it was structured pretty much like any other occasion I've known a guest to be on a music radio show, they always play music in between short segments of chat. It's a pain in the backside if your only tune in for the interview part, like us though...;)
