Interactive Red Button doesn't work

Hi,

We've had our 9200TB since July 2007 and have allowed all the over OTA upgrades but our red interactive button has never worked, We can press it and see the BBCi menu but when you select something you get a blank screen.

I have just tried channel 302 which works, 301 which showed the tennis for a second or two then just a blank screen. 303 and 105 just showed a blank screen.

Any advice please?

    Thanks so much.

    We now have a working interactive red button and the channels work too!!

    Such a simple solution when you know how!!:D

    Try deleting all the 300 channels and doing a channel rescan. If that doesn't fix it then do a reset to default settings.

    Thanks for the tip, Martin. that worked for me too. Wouldn't it be nice if the Humax knew when a rescan was necessary? Or perhaps if you could schedule a rescan in the same way as a software update.

    It's more likely that the required restore to default was not done after a software update. A re-scan should not be needed unless/until there is a channel line up change on LCNs or a new channel appears. It is, however normally mandatory for a default settings after a software update.
