Sorry if there is a similar thread on this but I was just wondering how you think that the 30th anniversary would go if Lorraine Newman was still in charge.
What would be the storylines leading up to it?
The actual what she would call drama involved
The Doff doff at the end

Jeez the woman is gone. Some of you need to let go.

However given she got David, Ronnie and Peggy back perhaps she would have brought back some of the originals.

The girl at the table with Spencer, Vicki, Gus, etc. Is that the girl who got murdered recently? :(

It could be worse though. Imagine if Julia Smith was still in charge. We'd have Nick Cotton coming back in some evil plot, then dirty Den throwing him out the vic. Ian Bealle and Sharon at the centre of things, character driven plots and dialogue, Arthur Fowler in his allotment, Ali Osman chatting to Angie Watts, right before she presents Den with his divorce papers, and Kathy chatting to Dot in the cafe before Mary the punk barges in with 2 dogs on a lead (the newly recast Roly and Willy)

    ;-) :p

'We want the 30th anniversary to be a real celebriration of EastEnders rich history, and it will be a testing time for two of our most popular Walford families. How will Max react when a whole new section of the Branning family turn up on his doorstep? And is it finally the ened of the road for Kat and Alfie?

With comedy capers and plenty of love and warmth, it won't be all doom and gloom! Dot and Poppy investigate the missing Victoria sponge cake and hilarity ensues, whilst the Hartman's host an outdoor party for their anniversary.

It's one you won't want to miss!'

No that was a different girl.

That girl is Brooke Kinsella MBE who campaigns against knife crime after he brother was murdered.

No it's not, it's Brooke Kinsella's character Kelly. Although, her brother was sadly also murdered. :(

Given her vision of love and warmth, it would have probably ended not too dissimilar to this:

Ava and Sam are revealed as the new owners of the Vic, and they rename it "DEXTAAAAA's"

Lauren is heavily pregnant with her cousin Joey's baby. She gives birth to a boy with eight legs.

Dot and the Vicar are horrified to discover the snake is back in Walford.

The Brannings gather for a faaaamily dinner, but there's fireworks when it's revealed Max has been having an affair with Kirsty's trilby.

Sharon becomes so irrelevant that she literally turns invisible.

The Who Raped Derek storyline reaches a dramatic conclusion when it's revealed Derek raped himself.

Somewhere in an alternate universe, that all happened.
