Fri

8-9pm Example & Olly Murs
9-10pm Professor Green
10.30-12 Tinie Tempah (also in HD)

My trusty Radio Times says
Press the red button 5pm-2am to see full and uninterrupted sets by the acts.
(My italics)

Looks like an tempt to answer criticism of recent festival coverage, although it was Sky Arts that got a real panning for their dismal Isle of Wight broadcasts.

The Beeb have always put full sets (or extensive highlights) on their website for T In The Park, so I doubt it's a "let's slag off Sky Arts" thing. The BBC have never had the rights to IoW Festival and I doubt they'd want them, they cover enough festivals (Big Weekend, TITP, Download, Creamfields, Sonar, Glastonbuty...)

The Temper Trap on red button now, far better than the clown that is example. I'm glad Snow Patrol is on the red button, I
Just hope they do the same with The Roses tomorrow night?

Fraid not. There was a message on Twitter before from BBC saying Stone Roses don't want to be broadcast this year so they won't be showing any of their set.

Catching up with Noel Gallagher and his HFBs. He's a much happier man since he divorced himself from his oaf of a brother.
