I have just heard that the commedian Charlie Drake has died at the age of 81. I remember him fondly from my childhood. I don't know if there is already a thread but I think it's sad he's gone.

I love comedians - big up Mr Drake -

I gets up every mornin' when the clock strikes eight
I'm always punctual, never never late
With a nice cup of tea, a little round of toast
The Sporting Life and the Winning Post.
I gets all nice and cozy, then I toddles off to work
I do the best I can
Cos I'm only a-doin' what a bloke should do
Cos I'm only a workin' man!

    RIP :)

Very Sad that Charlie Drake has passed away! Fond memories of him from my Childhood Days! Whether it be on the telly, or at Pantomines!

I think he had me in stitches with his "Slapstick".

    R.I.P. Charlie.
