As much as I dislike that over-rated pipsqueak David Beckham, I'd still like to see this show.

Have the Late Show cappers decided to take Fridays off now?!?

Oh no! David bloody Beckham? Theres a charisma free guest if ever there was one.
    Whats he gonna talk about?-
    football *YAWN*-
    his stick insect, pouting wife?-
posing in his undies for £millions?.

If only this was AFTER the World Cup *YAWN*,
I'd wager BIG money on him saying "The lads done well!" (even though they lost).
Please, I'm begging you PLEASE, someone hide the razor blades and paracetamols in my household:(

Actually I'm way behind (as usual), so by the time I get up to date, I'll skip this patic. LS methinks!

The reason I came on here is to tell anyone who's interested that on BBC4 at 1125 tonight there a programme on satire and parody in America called "Make ' Em laugh" Dave MAY be included but I've a feeling SNL will be a cert (if they can get the footage!):)

The David Beckham one is available if you know where to look. Annoyingly last Fridays show turned up but now missing Wednesdays show.

Shame as I always like the Jack Hanna visits.

Wow, I haven't posted on here in quite a while!

Anyhow, as always I'm very behind and have a backlog of LS episodes to watch.

It's a shame nothing more has been heard about Letterman coming to UK TV - there were some rumblings a few months ago but nothing came of it.

Off to Florida in just over a week on holiday so might get a chance to catch the LS live on CBS some nights. :)

    Next week's shows:

Mo 6/7: Jessica Biel, Lee DeWyze
Tu 6/8: Kate Hudson, Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti, Sarah McLachlan
We 6/9: Bradley Cooper, Khloe & Kourtney Kardashian, Christina Aguilera

Haha I think the Miley Cyrus one could be one to watch with fingers over the eyes - I remember when she was on Wossy last year, and it was cringeworthy! Be interested to see how Dave deals with her!

Negotiations with Dave have faltered apparently. Something about promotion or something.

Hey, you may want to watch 'Frost On Satire' tonight at 9 on BBC4. It's a documentary exploring the influence of political satire on both sides of the pond. Sir David frost believes the US is currently leading the way largely thanks to The many nightly late night talk shows. I'll be surprised if there aren't afew clips of Dave.

Hip-hop stars Jay-Z and Eminem try to blow the roof off of New York City with a special outdoor performance from high atop the Ed Sullivan Theater. To kick off the release of Eminem's new CD, "Recovery," the rap duo will hit the rooftop stage to perform a three song mini-concert on Friday's Late Show.

Jay-Z & Eminem. Live on the roof.
    Live on Letterman.

Looks like the cappers are being lazy again ... last Thursday and Fridays editions of the Late Show
are missing for those that want to grab the 350MB SD versions. There is an HD720 mkv version
of last Thursday's edition (with guest Miley Cyrus) but nothing at all for Friday.

Any of the regular cappers reading this ... c'mon, pull yer socks up ... please stop missing shows!

    UPDATE ... a little while later . . .
I've just found Friday's edition ... albeit in HD720p mkv format. Which means a download that's three
times bigger than the regular downloads, and is going to require conversion before I can watch it!

There currently no seeds listed for the torrent, but 75 leechers ... it's gonna take ages ... !
