My poor dog runs under the dining table when our new washing machine beeps when finishing. My mum rang the manufacturers who took her step by step through turning it off. The lady said lots of people rang for the same reason regarding their cats and dogs. Anyone else have similar problems?

My cat is pretty brave, its just the vacuum and electric drill she's scared of:D

But that alarm pisses me off, and following the instructions to switch if off doesn't work!>:(

Its completely pointless anyway - I know the wash is finished - the machine has stopped!

Elsie (lab) seems pretty bomb proof so far with noises, Betty (chi) just freaks at the hoover or carpet washing machine anything else she takes in her stride. Poor old Molliepops was scared of lots of noises including the kitchen timer so we had lots of burned dinners because we didn't want to upset her by putting it on
