    I wasn't. :D

I could still stand up, anyway. ;)

My mistake. Nothing wrong with being thirsty.
(You know i like those whiskey macs, outside.......mmmm, is it too early?.....)

It's never too early. The sun's well past the yard arm, dear.

Let me tidy that up for you.

    refills Granny's (very) large tumbler

    Thanksh, outshide :)
My gripe with FMs is when they associate a serious genre like classical music (or 'art music') with the sort of dumbed-down tripe that Jenkins churns out on her albums.

Does that mean we are not allowed to like Katherine Jenkins?

Or that we can like her as long as we don't think she is "serious"?

Not at all. I'm in tingramretro's front parlour so it's his booze! Top up, anyone?

    Keep your voice down, though.

I - honestly - had never heard Katherine Jenkins sing and was surprised at the quality of her voice. I thought she was some kind of Kerry Katona/X Factor personality.

You can like her if you must, but please do not ever equate her with a classical artist. She is not.

I'm not bloomin' scared of that tingramretro  Let him dare tell me to shut up and I'll punch him on the nose! See how he likes that!

(Forgot to warn you I can be a bit belligerent when I've had a few ;))

I can't put my finger on what Abigail's Song sounds like. It's very familiar, especially the strings behind.

    She was far too drunk.

This is the voice of Michael Praed, Granny. Go and fetch part 4 of "The Tenth Planet" from your attic. I know you have it so stop messin' about.

It's not as shocking as it looks.

I actually quite enjoyed it, it was funny, a bit soppy - suitably so for Christmas - and had enough Dickensian feel to it.

Mind you, I could have done without the sleigh-pulling shark, stuff like that always makes me wanna call animal rights activists :p

LOL. I'm sure the shark enjoyed it really.

They should have had an announcement - no sharks were harmed in the making of this programme. :)

Watched again and I love it just as much! So it wasn't the booze!

Where have I been? I've been putting up shelves for Marion. Those instructions aren't very clear, are they?

Now, get up that attic or you'll be feeling the power of Albion!

(Fetch the cannisters of "Fury from the Deep" whilst you're up there.)
