No doubt his friend Steve Job's iShineys will feature near the top

    PJ

PS should be products he has had to go to the shop and pay for, not before us, for free to his house ;-p

Yes, what's so special about his gadget's?

I've an aversion to many programmes with the name of a presenter in the title.

    I'll pass on that one.

The point of these CH4 "100 greatest" was always that there was some kind of UK public vote which gave the programme a kind of relevance.

This one is all Fry, his personal tastes in gadgets.

So a total rubbishing of the concept for no good reason.

I guess he didn't discover any barber shop gadgets while he was researching this

What's with his James May hair?

I forgot about this, I'll record it on Channel 4+1.

I usually like stuff like this.

Hard to see how anyone could enjoy this particular version of the "100 Greatest..."

Maybe if Fry was just hosting the thing rather than it being all about him

    #89 pop up tent

Only one I disagree with so far is the e-book reader being so low.

Given Fry's worship at the Temple of Apple, then #1 is sure to be the i-something.

And a quite a few Apple adverts in the breaks I'm sure.

The definition of gadget seems to be being used in its most liberal form in this show.

    Scissors and a whistle?

Besides, I thought C4 declared they weren't going to be making any more of these Top 100 shows.

Thanks for posting these, I don't have the patience to watch these top 100 shows all the way through!
I agree with you about the reader, they're brilliant (and no, they're not replacing books!)
