Hi, I am about to sell a samsung note 3 to CEX, thing is I dont know if its unlocked or not there is a significant price difference between O2 and an unlocked handset.

It is unopened, its an upgrade on an O2 contract but the box doesn't state O2, there is a note saying European model, and only compatible with a sim card issued from a mobile operator within Europe, but nothing about network

Can anyone help, I've tried to call Carphone warehouse but Im getting no answer, phones too busy and head office werent much help, she just said that she didn't know !

How would the staff member identified what network the phone was on, surely there will be a pile of phones the boxes aren't marked by network ??

As has been said CPW don't normally sell locked handsets.

Easiest way to be 100% certain is to TRY a PAYG SIM from a different network - these are often sent out free by filling in a web-form!
