Babies born at similar times in soaps...

Does it always have to be where one baby survives & something happens to the other one or something happens that causes complications further down the line?
Like in Hollyoaks, Rose & Dee Dee got swapped at birth which has caused problems because Dee Dee is Tegan's last hope. In EastEnders, Kat & Ronnie gave birth on the same day & Ronnie's baby died, whom she swapped with Kat's, & passed off as her own for months.
Also, going back 15 years, Kevin Websters then wife Alison, gave birth the day after Sarah Platt & Sarah's baby was okay, but Alison's & Kevin's baby, Jake contracted an infection & died a few hours later.
I hate how this happens, it's only if the babies are twins that they're okay but if it's two different babies something must always happen.

Both devised by the dreadful kirkwood.
True & both equally as terrible.
The shock factor just doesn't work anymore for Oaks.
Wasn't it Liz McDonald who delivered Rosie?
That was probably the only time where nothing has happened. It's weird how they've nothing to do with eachother barely.
There have been a lot of times babies were born on the same time across different soaps (Belle Dingle and Liam Butcher to name 2. I think Judy Mallett's twins shared a birthday with another soap child as well)
But within the same soap, Rosie and David are the only 2 i can think of until Tommy and James and rose and the twins, both of which are Kirkwood and done for swapping purposes.
No wonder the poor girl turned out like she did!! That's enough to traumatise anyone for life!!
Quite a few more births than average occur on one specific day in the year. Examples are David in Corrie and Belle in Emmerdale. I refer to Christmas Day!
