Help with tv.

Hi i have a Panasonic optiplex 100mhz, and since we got it 2 years ago everytime we switch it on it shows the built-in dvb screen and "No EPG Data Avaialble" because its not connected to an ariel, we have a scart stb so to watch the tv we need to press the tv/av button on the remote to get the tv on, Is their anyway i can set-it to come on on the stb connection?

1. SCART has the built-in ability to tell TVs to switch to the AV channel whenever the device is switched on. You might need to change a setting in your digibox's menus to turn "SCART control ON". There might be an equivalent setting on your TV to tell it to recognise the SCART control signal. Check your manuals for details.
2. I don't know if your TV will have this facility, but my Sony has the ability to 'map' Channel 1 to the AV socket. So when you switch the TV on, it defaults to Channel 1 which is in fact the AV socket.
