And surely Betty's the favourite tonight? She's all over the fansites like a rash (I'm not a fan of it myself)
I would love Mika to be chosen. He is quite a good song writer and can perform well, although not everyones cup of tea. Would get good points from France

I tend to alternate between loving and hating the Cypriot entry. Following that system, we were due a dud this year, and sure enough, they've delivered.
His new album is quite decent. Shame support for him seems non existent in this country. After a massive debut album and an even better 2nd album, there just seems no interest in him

Yup pity. Any act with personality seems to be dismissed by the British quickly
I initially thought it would be Father Ted and co who would walk this one, but having them open the show, whilst it should be an epic opening, really scuppers their chances imo.
I would be over the moon if Blitzkids were the chosen ones, but I'm really believing now that Cascada may win. My pick for the Top 3 would be Cascada, Nica & Joe and Betty although not necessarily in that order.
I just hope tonight's show is a roaring success as I really want Germany to continue down this path of National Finals in future years if this years selection is any indication of the quality and diversity we can expect.
I wonder if Hamburg vill be flipping out tonight?
Marmite can be good though when it comes to votes because people will vote loads for acts they love. Didn't Mika once say he would do Eurovision but only for Lebanon or something

Elsewhere, I'm still a bit  at the news that Alyona Lanskaya has been recording her alternative songs for Eurovision at Abbey Road studios in London. The good news for me is that Riddim Aff Laf is still in contention for going to Malmo.

I really like the sound of this
No thank you...
EDIT: Actually it's a lot better 2nd time around...still not good though...:p

Is it April 1st already?
I seen that then someone said he's at a festival in France the next day.
I like this recent song from him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b8btcCmL0c
I agree, I think I'll end up liking Cyprus.
Yup
MAY

Yet Malena Erman and Kaas had concerts inbetween rehearsal and the finals.

I thought people dismissed Mika because most of his songs are sung at a pitch that only dogs can hear?
Thats it though, look at lena she would have probably been described as too marmite if we picked her
Like most of the Sound of Winners people will dump the last for the next in order to be trendy. (exception being Adele)

Lebanon or France in 2008
Don't know it's been quite low key in the press
Hopefully the atmosphere will be good tonight though they will need to have sold quite a lot of tickets as the arena can take up to 14 thousand people
Austria, Denmark, Slovenia, Ukraine, Estonia, Belgium, Cyprus, Ireland, Lithuania, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Malta, Albania, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, Germany
Martin Rolinski is up.....

I was expecting those glass panels to shatter at any moment, Wonder if the are actually Eric Saade's from the other year.
