Murray's been playing every shot in the book from every position on the court :)

He started off a bit too defensive, but now he's weathered the initial Wawrinka storm he's playing beautifully, very inventive, mixing the aggression up nicely.

Apparently it's because it's Labor Day in the US so they have the marquee matches in the day sessions instead of night.

Murray lost the second set - looks like its going to be an interesting match. :)

It was his fault for being complacent when he was a break up in the second though.

I don't think Wawrinka will be able to take this all the way but it was always likely he'd make a match of it.

There's some great tennis going on here. Really like Stan, it kinda surprises me that he's not so high up the rankings anymore, i'm pretty sure he used to be around 8/9 in the world

He did Vicky. I think with players like Stan it's a question of getting the consistency - he's a great shotmaker but seems to struggle to play well match after match as you need to if you're to go deep into tournaments.

I also think he's not one of those players who can grind out results when they are not playing at their best.

I think I would be enjoying this more if I didn't want Andy to win so much. there are certainly moments of brilliance from both players. :)
far too many breaks of serve for my liking though:eek:

    Why:confused:

It's what CBS want and what CBS want, CBS get. It's Labour Day and as they do at the weekends, they put all the marquee matches on during the day.

Don't mind who wins. Kind of hope it goes to 5.

ETA: DF on break point? Ouch Murray.

Andy looking lethargic and in "can't be bothered mode" :(

Stan will either win this in 4 or it will go to 5 and who knows.:o

Schiavone to win USO .......... yayyyyyyyyyyyyy :D:D

Oh boy, would I love to see her win the USO. Let's hope she confuses Venus with her all court play, spins, drop shots etc, etc. :p

Edit: Trainer on for Murray :(

LOL. Would be amazing if she suddenly won 2 slams in a year after all this time on tour.

    Murray's body-language is worrying.

Listening to radio commentary, Murray seems to have gone off the boil

not sure if he's injured or not bothered

both players have been iffy in this match, not much between them
