I do my other 'unpaid' job on a Friday. House and boy stuff!
Lucky really I suppose, but I've always worked this way since they were born. It suits me really well.
I call it my multi-tasking day. Motivation is a problem though and sometimes I wish I was in the Library, at least there I just get on with it!

I know what you mean about motivation - when I work from home I have to force myself to sit still instead of wandering around making cups of tea.... of course that's easy compared to trying to stop myself being on the thread when I'm supposed to be working

Anyone else got problems with the CCF site ....... very slow again .

    Morning all.

Yes there is a problem Alpha - nothing we've done, its the site host experiencing the problems. It is unclear why our site and others are having trouble at the moment. You can still use the boards but they're just taking twenty seconds to load

    Morning pattycake
    There's another one!
I'm waiting for a scrap metal man to come and take my old gates away for me! How exciting is that?
Hope your delivery is a bit more interesting.

I think a small glass of pink champagne is in order... would you like one?

I say small glass because you really need to be sober to chop up bricks! Could be dangerous otherwise...

Think I'd rather drink a 'large' glass of pink Champers with you Chalmed.

The first time I saw her name that's what I thought it said.

It's funny isn't it, when you first decide to register and you're thinking of a name, it never really occurs to you that you might end up coming face to face with other threadgoers and having to explain why you chose that particular name! I get a bit embarrased actually because Chalmed is rather slushy .. :o

    CHALMED is a fine name.
I feel embarrassed because I never had problems with it at first it's just now that I've lost my marbles that I have trouble with my spelling!!

It's not boring, and it must be relevant for you to have chosen it! :)

Come on then AlphaK, it must be better than mine!

I like being JJ and glad I have that name now, but when I joined and chose Jolly Jill I'd just met Craig for the first time and that was how he made me feel! Soft aren't I?
My black cloud moved away the day I heard him sing TITM on ADWD and then to actually meet him was very special.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then.

Jolly Jill suits you but I do like JJ :) Was the Palladium the first time you met Craig?? I can't remember...
