Hi all,

With Toy Story 3 hitting the UK very soon, we're running a poll to find out DS readers' favourite Pixar movie.

Head thisaway to cast your vote: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/at-the-movies/a231533/poll-whats-your-favourite-pixar-movie.html

I still haven't made my mind up yet - they've made so many great films!

Cheers,
Simon (DS Movies Ed)

a toughie, but I'm gonna have to plump for the always under-appreciated A Bug's Life. I watched it all the time as a kid and have recently discovered the Blu-Ray version. its just incredible.

i went with Toy Story 2!
one of my favourite sequels in any film!
a close 2nd and 3rd would have to be Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo.

Not seen Cars, Up or The Incredibles.

Voted for Finding Nemo though, Toy Story and A Bugs Life taking close 2nd and 3rd.

There are so many great, enjoyable Pixar movies that it was hard to pick. I voted for Bug's Life because I figured Toy Story would get the majority of the vote.

Finding Nemo, the Toy Story series, Ratatouille and The Incredibles hold a special place in my heart. I wasn't a very big fan of Up or Cars.

For me, it's easily 'Wall.E'. It's gorgeous to watch and has a genuinely touching story.

Very very tough decision, however I voted for Finding Nemo. :)

They're all excellent movies, I didn't like Cars, haven't seen Up, but all the other movies are great.

Cars is definitely the weakest film in the whole list.

Ratatouille is my favourite Pixar film, so that got my vote.

Ellen Degeneres steals that movie. I wish she would go back to acting instesd of setting up her own record label even though she knows sweet FA about the music industry.

So hard to choose, because each one is fantastic.

I voted for Toy Story though because that is the film that started it all and I love all the characters.

In order, I believe it goes like this:
    1. Toy Story - Awesome.
    2. Finding Nemo - Beautiful animation and who doesn't love Dory?
    3. Up - Seriously makes me cry everytime.
    4. Toy Story 2 - Fun storyline with great characters. Love the Jessie scene.
    5. A Bug's Life - Underated, but I love Kevin Spacey as Hopper.
    6. Monsters Inc. - Good, but let down by a paper thin plot.
    7. Ratatouille - Cute story, but does drag.
    8. WALL-E - Loved the first half of the film, the second half not so much.
    9. The Incredibles - Not so good in the middle, only really gets exciting at the end.
    10. Cars - Average and quite dull. Who's idea was it to make a film about cars with faces...

Absolutely, the CGI is more believable than most live action effects movies.

I think Pixar films rate from good to amazing. Their worst efforts are still above what some studios churn out.

For me, it's "The Incredibles." I just adore that movie.

Toy Story 2. While I'm of the opinion that Pixar have never made a bad film (although Cars came close), I've been left very underwhelmed with recent entries. Loved Monsters Inc and The Incredibles, but Toy Story 2 is actually a fantastic film, not just a fantastic animated film.

I'd say in order of the ones I've seen:

    The Incredibles
    Finding Nemo
    Walle
    Up
    Cars
    Toy Story
    Monster's Inc

I love Pixar movies, the only one out of my list that won't get 7/10 or more is Monsters Inc, probably a 5/6
