I can't compete with SBS but all are welcome to listen to my Eurovision Spotify playlist. :)

Bloody hell that's some archive! :o:D

I need to do something like that, selective to stuff I will actually listen to in one playlist instead of just hoarding tons of songs on the computer and ipod that never get played.

Still a work in progress. Not really touched the contests pre 1990 yet. I'm also looking to add more classics like Doris Dragovic :D

Oh god, I didn't change the channel and now One True Vouce are on with Shakespears Way With Words :o

You know, that's why the Swedes have the advantage, songs that you see at Melfest are pretty much "Eurovision ready" - they are saying to the voters " this is what it will look like on the Eurovision stage" and asking the public to vote on the staging, song - well, the whole package really

    NTR - no tweaking required
Well, OTOH the countries that excel in turd-polishing (aka tweaking) usually do very well, too ;) Mostly the ex-Soviet countries. So I don't think that's the deciding factor really.

(And TBH most of Melfest sounds so overproduced... Guess that's one reason I like the joikh. :))

Just makes me crave SBS Eurovision Radio that does! Can't wait until that's back again.

I know there's that and the other one that throws in Melfest Rejects, but SBS Eurovision is my favourite - despite their obsession with I Wanna and Everybody, they play more of the 'bangers', whereas ESC Radio is more for the older folk... sorry weedy.

The thing with That Sounds Good To Me that bugged me was the horrible Eurovision version, I mean the version from Your Country a Needs You wasn't great but they managed to make it worse!

Acoustic cover of "Aina mun pitää" by someone called Danny McEvoy: :D:D

(His Finnish sounds more English than Finnish though ;))
I was wondering what Weedy has been up to lately. :kitty:

    Ooh, you cheeky mare! :D

That's him? :o Or you're just taking the mickey? ;)

Rosetta, don’t take any notice of Foxy.
    1) I’m no scouser, I have a delicate Welsh accent, similar to Anthony Hopkins the actor
    2) Before doing a video of myself (that will never happen) I would have tidied up the room
    3) I sold my guitar to my brother in law when I was 25, some <censored> years ago
    4) I can sing better than him (I’m Welsh, its in the genes)
    5) I’ve only the one poster on the wall, it is this one:
    https://parisianfields.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/1038-9.jpg
    6) I wouldn’t be seen dead in a pair of pink trousers
    7) No flat caps here, usually worn by people going prematurely bald on top, I have a fine head of hair (going a bit silver fox now)
    :)

Is anybody watching the Eurovision Pop Hits on The Vault Channel?

One of the bosses of Chart Show TV network is a big ESC/MF fan.. they even did a Top 10 Eric Saade show once, and showed all the preview videos in full in 2012 (not sure whether they've done that since)

What i dislike is all the blame lands to Josh when i blame the song writers and production

I saw that. Made a start on making a playlist while multitasking cooking dinner. I couldn't tell you how many times I've played Sunshine. :D

Haha no. I'm quite partial to France 02 when the mood grabs me.

What happened to the Scandipop show they used to show, is it still on?
